Bilawal urges to give someone new a chance in elections this time

ABBOTTABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday asked the nation to give a new candidate the chance to become prime minister in the upcoming elections.

Addressing a public rally in Abbottabad, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said the country needed such a leadership that should not be embroiled in the politics of hate and past. He said as a foreign minister he had proved his mettle. Youth could prove themselves, given they were provided a chance, he said.

“The one who has not got a chance should be given the opportunity, rather than making someone prime minister for the fourth time,” he said adding that whenever the PPP got a chance it served the masses.

He said they would make a public serving government in the elections. He said inflation, poverty and unemployment were at historic levels in the country. Our rulers had no idea of ground realities, he maintained.

“The people are currently in pain, suffering and difficulty. Inflation, unemployment and poverty are increasing rapidly in the country. Political parties are engaged in the same old politics,” he said.

Bilawal Bhutto said to get out of the problems, a new politics was required. He said new politics as well as new leadership was need of the hour. People’s Party was a party of the oppressed, he said.
