A leading English daily is looking for Karachi-based candidates (preferably girls) for the job of Sub-editors. The candidate should have a strong understanding of topics like history, current affairs, economy, travel, etc. as well as the ability to meet challenging deadlines.
The candidate should have:
Education: Minimum bachelors
Fresh graduates and with minimum experience can join
1. Good command on the English language
2. Good command on translation (from Urdu to English), transcription and compilation of content.
3. A basic understanding of page design and layout
4. Strong work ethics etc
It’s a 9-5 job. 6 days a week. No half days.
