Muhammed Hafeez replaces Mickey Arthur as Pakistan Team Director

LAHORE: Former skipper Muhammed Hafeez on Wednesday replaced Mickey Arthur as Pakistan Team Director, local media reported quoting sources as saying.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) appointed lead Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi as T20 skipper after Babar Azam resigned from the position.

On the other hand, PCB appointed Shan Masood as Pakistan test team captain, said sources.

The sources said the PCB management agreed upon handing over the reins of the Test team to Shan Masood. This was decided after his meeting with PCB Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf in Lahore. Masood will be captain in upcoming Australia series.
